Essential Job Functions:

  • Generate manufacturing assembly documentation and provide direct support of personnel in the day-to-day execution of the manufacturing, inspection and test operations
  • Analyze ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices) impact to operations including material in stock, work in process, and work outsourced to suppliers
  • Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency
  • Provide shop floor support to resolve daily process-related issues by working with product designers, method engineers, planners, supervisors and manufacturing staff
  • Analyze and develop costing & manufacturing models for new business programs
  • Design and implement manufacturing tools and fixtures for production
  • Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes associated with machined components, production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
  • Develop machining strategies and create milling and turning programs for CNC machines

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD (prefer Solid Edge) to design manufacturing tools and fixtures
  • Fundamental knowledge of lean manufacturing production principles and techniques
  • Experience in MS office products: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Two+ years of experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
